Vietnam's cement and clinker exports showed a strong growth trend in October 2025. According to the data released by Vietnam's National Statistics Office, the export volume reached 3.5 million tons and 128 million US dollars in the month, up 30% and 20% respectively from the same period last year. This monthly performance not only continued the positive trend of the whole year, but also released a positive signal of market recovery.
According to the cumulative data of the first ten months of this year, Vietnam's total export of cement and clinker has reached 29.8 million tons, and the total export volume has climbed to 1.11 billion US dollars. Compared with the same period in 2024, the export volume increased by 20% and the export volume increased by 10%. It is worth noting that the export volume in just ten months has exceeded the level of the whole year of 2024, showing the effective connection between industry capacity and overseas demand.
Looking back on the whole year of 2024, Vietnam's cement export volume was 29.7 million tons and 1.14 billion US dollars, with the two indicators decreasing by 5% and 10% respectively compared with 2023. In contrast, the adverse growth pattern in 2025 is particularly prominent, which not only reversed the downward trend of last year, but also achieved a double breakthrough in the total volume and growth rate. This change reflects the competitiveness of Vietnam's cement industry in the international market and the recovery of global construction market demand.
