the project covers an area of about 800 hectares, with a total investment of about 307 million US dollars (about 2.163 billion RMB), and adopts the photovoltaic + energy storage mode. It is planned to construct 300 MW photovoltaic system and 90 MW/360 MWh energy storage system .
It is reported that the project is the first "photovoltaic + energy storage" project in Kazakhstan , and is also the largest single installed capacity photovoltaic storage project in the country . It is also the first new energy project to start in the framework agreement on renewable energy cooperation between China and Kazakhstan after the Shanghai Cooperation Summit this year.
