Recently, the Hungarian Debrecen plant of Enjie Co., Ltd., the leader of lithium-ion diaphragm, was ordered by the local government to shut down completely, which is also the first Chinese-funded lithium-ion head enterprise to be shut down after the landing of the Hungarian New Deal. The reason for
the shutdown was that on June 24, the local environmental protection department found that the concentration of aluminium in groundwater exceeded the standard by 13380 times, while arsenic, lead, cadmium, nickel and other heavy metals exceeded the standard in an all-round way, and the problem of soil and groundwater pollution was very serious.
In addition, on July 3, the local fire department issued another ban, because the fire control system of the whole plant was not up to standard, all operations in the plant area were prohibited. After two fines, the plant was completely shut down, and the time for resumption of production was completely unknown.
