Georgia: Prime Minister meets Bruno Lafont

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili at the World Economic Forum in Davos met with the executive director of Lafarge, Bruno Lafont.

As the Prime Minister's press service reported on Jan.24, during the meeting the sides discussed the possibilities of investing in the country's economy and the prospects for development of the production sphere.

Garibashvili said that over the last decade, growth in the construction sector of the country has led to the development of the production of building materials.

He stressed that Georgia also plans to build large hydropower plants that will lead to a growing demand for concrete and cement in the country.
