Recently, Chengdu Cement Research & Development Institute (CDI), a subsidiary of Sinoma, has been recognized as a High-tech Enterprise.

According to the Regulation of High-tech Enterprise Recognition issued by Chinese government in 2008, all high-tech enterprises have to be re-qualified. Through great efforts, Chengdu Cement Institute had finally passed all procedures including authority assessment and public announcement, and then has been recognized as a High-tech Enterprise with a valid period of 3 years.

Being recognized as a High-tech Enterprise is not only an encouragement for Chengdu Cement Institute's efforts in technology innovation, but also provides a 15% tax preference for Chengdu Cement Institute under China's Western Development Policy.
