Cement supplied to external market 40 per cent cheaper than in Kyrgyzstan

Domestically produced cement supplied to the external market is 40 per cent cheaper than in  Kyrgyzstan said MP Ulukbek Kochkorov (Ata Jurt), at the meeting of the parliamentary committee for economic and fiscal policy on May 27, reports Tazabek.

“Do you know what the cement price of the South Kyrgyz Cement Plant for the external and domestic market is?” the lawmaker asked Deputy Minister of Economy, Adylbek Kasymaliyev present at the meet.

The domestic and external market prices are regulated by the State Agency for Anti-Monopoly Regulation, the Deputy Economy Minister said.

The cement is supplied to the external market at KGS 3 for 1 kg, and at KGS 5 cement is sold to local consumers, MP Kochkorov declared.
