Mar. 23, Japan's Nikkei 225 (NKY) Stock Average fell 158.85, or 1.7 percent, to 9,449.47 as of the close in Tokyo.
Taiheiyo Cement Corp. (5233) (5233 JT), Japan's biggest cement maker, increased 3.4 percent to 153 yen, the highest since September 2009. The company, which had no dividend payout a year earlier, decided to pay a dividend of 2.5 yen per share for the fiscal year ending in March.
