The president of the Anhui Conch Cement Co, Guo Wensan, paid a visit to the Urumqi Economic and Technological Development Zone, in the Toutunhe district of Urumqi, the capital of the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, on Nov 7, to get a better understanding of the history, infrastructure, economic growth, and future of the district.
Guo was accompanied by Wei Yi, the district's Party secretary, and got a look at high-tech equipment in the district's exhibition hall.
At a seminar held afterwards, Guo said that the district's development and the support that Coch's local subsidiary, Xinjiang Conch Section Bar Co got from the district government helped it in performance, production and management. He also expressed a hope for greater cooperation between Conch and the Toutunhe district in the future.
Wei explained that Conch's Toutunhe projects are significant for the development of new construction materials here and for the growth of exports and the economy in general and added that the district government will do its best in providing services to bring even more economic benefits.
