On the morning of June 30, the government of Youxi County, Sanming City, Fujian Province and Anhui Conch Group Co., Ltd. held a meeting to discuss the "Green and New Environmental Protection Material Industrial Park" project. County Party Secretary Zhou Qingyu, County Party Committee Deputy Secretary and Acting County Cheif Liao Caitian, County People's Congress Standing Committee Director Ke Dezhong, County CPPCC Chairman Lin Siwen, and Ding Zhengping, Zhejiang Fujian Regional Director of Conch Cement Co., Ltd. attended the fair.

At the meeting, the two parties conducted in-depth exchanges on the development of the "Green and New Environmental Protection Material Industrial Park" project, and discussed the direction and content of cooperation in the future.

Zhou Qingyu said that the county party committee and the county government attach great importance to the investment promotion work of the green and new environmental protection material industrial park project. The relevant county leaders and county investment promotion leading groups should quickly set up special classes and several working groups to pay close attention to the negotiation and do the best to ensure the service, to implement the related issues of the cooperation framework agreement between the two parties, and the villages and towns under the jurisdiction would actively cooperate with the pre-project land acquisition and other works to strive for the early completion of the project. Ding Zhengping introduced the situations of Conch Group and Conch Cement Youxi Project, and spoke highly of Youxi’s high emphasis on investment promotion and pragmatic work style. He hoped that the two parties would further communicate in depth and strive for fruitful results as soon as possible.

It is said that Anhui Conch Cement Co., Ltd. and Xiamen Dadexing Industrial Co., Ltd. intend to invest about 3.2 billion yuan in the construction of the "green and new environmental protection material industrial park" project in Zhongxian, Youxi County. The project covers new building materials, energy conservation, environmental protection, green new energy and other aspects.

A local source said that the green industrial park under preparation includes a cement clinker production line, while the specific scale has not yet been determined, which needs to be determined according to the situation of later capacity replacement. However, the source also said that the policy of trans-provincial capacity replacement is now tightening in Fujian. Although Conch Group did not have a clinker production base in Fujian before, Conch Cement still has a relatively high market share in Fujian through its convenient shipping and transit warehouse capabilities.
