Xinjiang Tianshan Cement (000877) started construction on three cement production lines with total investment of one billion yuan, reports yicai.com, citing news released by China National Materials Group, the largest shareholder of Xinjiang Tianshan.
Once the three cement production lines are put into operations, they will produce three million tons of cement each year.
The first of the three cement lines, with a total investment of 340 million yuan, is expected to yield 775,000 tons of cement clinker and one million tons of cement each year once it is put into operations, which is scheduled for February 2012.
