On August 18, at the 3rd High Latitude Extreme Cold Test Environment Technology Innovation Forum held in Mohe, Heilongjiang Province, Dongfang Tiansuan signed a cooperation agreement with the State Inspection Group to jointly build a " Space Photovoltaic Joint Laboratory" . Joint research on space photovoltaic materials, satellite-borne photovoltaic cells/ components , space environment reliability, testing methods, standard system and on-orbit verification will be carried out to complement the shortcomings of domestic space photovoltaic testing and verification, and to promote the transformation of technological achievements, standard output and industrial landing.

The State Inspection Group is an authoritative national third-party testing institution in the field of photovoltaic in China, and also undertakes the work of the Secretariat of the Technical Committee for Standardization of Solar Photovoltaic System Applications (CSTM/FC03/TC22) of the Committee for Standardization of Building Materials of the China Committee for Standardization of Materials and Tests. It has the ability of testing and certification, standard development and outdoor empirical testing of the whole photovoltaic industry chain, and supports the construction of the national space photovoltaic industry standard system.
Dongfang Tiancheng is an industrialization platform for space computing track, focusing on space computing, space-based computing satellite and payload design, space photovoltaic engineering application, focusing on LEO satellite energy system, satellite-borne photovoltaic equipment research and development, on-orbit application verification, and has the overall engineering practice capability of high-performance computing satellite system.
This cooperation combines the testing and evaluation and standard research capabilities of the National Inspection Group with the space computing application requirements, satellite platforms and on-orbit verification capabilities of Oriental Sky Computing, and explores the collaborative path of "ground t est-environmental test-on-orbit verification-standard transformation", so as to achieve the goal of "ground test-environmental test-on-orbit verification-standard transformation". It provides support for energy security and long-term stable operation of space computing system.
It is worth noting that in July this year, Dongfang Tiansuan also signed a strategic cooperation with Tianhe Solar Energy's gifted stars, and the two sides will deepen their cooperation in the field of space photovoltaic, relying on their respective technology accumulation in the field of photovoltaic cells and space-based computing, jointly tackle the key problems of space photovoltaic energy schemes, and strive to build space photovoltaic energy.
