Yangon City Development Committee breaks ground on new cement plant

< P > < FONT face = Verdana > < FONT face = Verdana > Yangon Urban Development Committee No.1 Cement Plant started construction in Mandalay's Pyi Nyaung township last week. The plant, which uses a wet process, covers an area of 1,442 acres, and all the technology and machinery are designed and supplied by Fengfei Group in China. According to the plan, the initial cement production capacity will be 500 tons per day in April 2009, and will eventually reach 1500 tons per day, which will lead to 300 to 500 people's employment. & nbsp;
