According to the data of China Cement Network Cement Big Data (https://data.ccement.com/), the price of clinker in the Yangtze River Delta increased continuously at the end of July and the middle of August. The rebound in clinker prices has stimulated traders to become active again.
Vietnam is the largest importer of clinker in China. Data show that in August, Vietnam exported 2.5278 million tons of cement clinker to China, breaking the historical record (the last high point was in May this year), up 61.56% from July and nearly 1 million tons more than same period last year.
By the end of August, Vietnam had exported 12.5895 million tons of cement and clinker to China this year, an increase of nearly 50% over the same period last year, accounting for 52.55% of Vietnam's total exports, which also reached the highest level in history.
From January to August, the total export volume reached 415 million US dollars, with an average unit price of 33 US dollars/ton, down 14% from the same period last year.
