He analyzed that there are three difficulties in the application of pure hydrogen at present-flammability and explosion, hydrogen embrittlement and combustion characteristics.

He said that ammonia can be used to store hydrogen, because ammonia does not contain carbon, and ammonia is easy to liquefy, using hydrogen/ammonia/coal hybrid combustion system to reduce the use of coal.
