The first county-wide roof distributed photovoltaic project in the Xizang area was put into operation.

Recently, the pilot project of roof distributed photovoltaic in Qiongjie County, which is contracted by Central South Survey and Design Institute Group Co., Ltd. , has been connected to the grid with full capacity, marking the first roof distributed photovoltaic project in the whole county in the Xizang to be put into operation. The

project is located in Qiongjie County, the Shannan Prefecture of Lhasa City of the Xizang Autonomous, and plans to use the Qiongjie County Government, the County Public Security Bureau, the County Court, the Cultural Bureau, the Post Office, the Natural Resources Bureau, and the Complete Primary School to build a total of 18 rooftop photovoltaic power stations. The project is one of the nine pilot projects in the whole county (district) Rooftop Distributed Photovoltaic Development Pilot Work Plan in Xizang Autonomous. The project has been successfully created as a highlight and benchmark for promoting distributed photovoltaic pilot projects in the whole county in Xizang, and has very important strategic significance.

The project is located in high altitude remote areas, the project faces many difficulties, such as difficult material procurement and transportation, multi-point operation, heavy coordination workload, tight project schedule and so on. The Qiongjie Photovoltaic Project Team of the Central South Institute is not afraid of difficulties, gives full play to its subjective initiative, overcomes many difficulties, and advances the project construction while strictly controlling the quality. The construction period target was successfully completed five days ahead of schedule, which was affirmed by the project owner.
