The output fell to the lowest level in nearly 11 years, the national cement price index (CEMPI) fell by 40 points, and the total profit of the national cement industry in 2022 shrank sharply compared with 2021.
In the downturn of the market, the task of high-quality development of the cement industry is imminent. From the Comprehensive Work Plan for Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction in the 14th Five-Year Plan to the Guidelines for the Implementation of Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction Upgrading in Key Areas of High Energy-consuming Industries (2022 Edition), to the Implementation Plan for Carbon Peak in Building Materials Industry jointly issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other four departments in November 2022, the development path of green, energy-saving and low-carbon cement industry has been further clarified.
We have to believe that any industry has peaks and troughs, and the difficulty is how to cultivate new opportunities in the crisis and open up new situations in the changing situation.
This year, in the drastic changes in the internal and external environment, progress, innovation and change have become powerful weapons for many cement enterprises to withstand the storm.
We have seen that more and more cement enterprises continue to promote green development and enhance their competitiveness, while adjusting their market strategies in a timely manner, making every effort to optimize the industrial layout, and further increasing the number of new energy positions such as photovoltaic and energy storage.

In the
past year, relying on the big data center of China Cement Network, we have undertaken a number of special research reports by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, leading enterprises and research institutions. In the
