On October 9, Gemeng Yihe New Energy Co., Ltd. Chayouqianqi Wind and Solar Hydrogen Production Integration Project (Phase I) EPC general contracting tender for new energy part issued the third extension announcement. The deadline for submission and opening of project bidding documents was extended from 10:00 on October 13 to 10:00 on October 31.
Previously, on August 22, the new energy part of the project (Phase I) issued the EPC general contracting tender announcement for the first time. The planned installed capacity of the project is 50 MW, and the elevation of the wind farm site is about 1400m ~ 1500m. It is a mountainous terrain with a total of 8 6.25 MW wind turbines, each with a 6900 KVA box transformer. After series connection, two 35kV collector lines are finally connected to the 35kV bus side of the chemical substation of the project.
It is reported that the tenderer of Chayouqianqi Wind and Solar Hydrogen Production Integration Project is Gemeng Yihe New Energy Co., Ltd. The construction site is located in Chahar Right Front Banner, Wulanchabu City, Inner Mongolia, and the original plan is to start construction on September 1, 2025.
The project is divided into two parts, one of which is Chayouqianqi Wind and Solar Hydrogen Production Integration Project, which is divided into new energy end (including transmission line) and hydrogen production end ( energy storage ). It is planned to adopt off-grid hydrogen production mode and use 50 MW wind power to produce hydrogen. It mainly includes:
new energy end: the installed capacity of new energy is 50 MW wind power, 8 6.25 MW wind turbines are installed, the preliminary scale of electric energy storage is 5MW/20 MWh, two 35 kV transmission lines, wind power and necessary public auxiliary works and supporting facilities; Hydrogen
production end: rated ammonia production of 9000Nm3 /H, A station with a maximum ammonia yield of 10800Nm3 /H, complete equipment for IGBT rectifier power supply (including power transformer), complete equipment for electrolytic hydrogen production (including separation and purification), integrated control platform for green electricity hydrogen production, Energy storage system (initial scale of 5MW/20 Mwh), water production system, compressor, hydrogen filling device, hydrogen storage facilities and necessary public auxiliary works and supporting facilities. The second
project is the wind turbine generator unit and its auxiliary equipment required for the green power supply project (Phase I) of Gemeng Nuojin New Energy Co., Ltd. in Mingantu Industrial Park of Xilingol Industrial Development Zone, with a planned installed capacity of 100m, a single unit capacity of 6.25 MW and a quantity of 16 sets.
The project is divided into four bidding sections. Centralized procurement of wind turbine generator units and their ancillary equipment (Bid Section A), EPC general contracting of new energy part of Chayou Wind and Solar Hydrogen Production Integration Project (Bid Section B), Chayouqianqi Wind and Solar Hydrogen Production Integration Project (Phase I) Hydrogen Production End Complete Equipment Procurement (Bid Section C) and Chayouqianqi Wind and Solar Hydrogen Production Integration Project Hydrogen Production End EPC Project (Bid Section D).
The project plans to purchase 36 sets of 250Nm ³/H PEM electrolyzers, with rated hydrogen production of 9000Nm ³/H and maximum hydrogen production of 10800Nm ³/H at the hydrogen production end. The wind turbine generator system and its auxiliary equipment have a planned installed capacity of 100MW, a single unit capacity of 6.25MW, and a quantity of 16 sets. This scale has become the largest integrated project of wind and solar hydrogen production this year.
However, the EPC general contracting bidding for the new energy part of the project has repeatedly encountered changes. After
the first tender announcement was issued on August 22, it was postponed twice on September 11 and September 15.
In addition, the first tender announcement was issued on August 5 for the procurement of complete sets of hydrogen production equipment for the project (Phase I), and the tender suspension announcement was also issued on September 26. The reason is that the abandoned tender for the project needs to be re-tendered, but the second tender document has not been finalized so far, so the suspension announcement was issued.
