Recently, China Resources Building Materials Science and Technology has made another success in the field of scientific and technological innovation. The project of "Key Technical Equipment Development and Engineering Application of Cement Kiln Co-processing Solid Waste Based on Cyclone Furnace" led by the company has passed the appraisal of scientific and technological achievements of China Building Materials Federation, and the project achievements have been recognized as reaching the international advanced level in general, and some technologies are in the international leading level.
The appraisal of scientific and technological achievements was organized by the China Building Materials Federation, and a number of authoritative experts from the industry were invited to form an appraisal committee. After on-site inspection, listening to project reports and expert reviews, the appraisal committee highly appraised the technical achievements of the project.
This project is a solid waste disposal system with "rotary incinerator" as the core, which solves the industry problems of large impact of medium and low calorific value solid waste disposal on the firing system and short service life of refractory materials, and effectively improves the scale and utilization efficiency of cement kiln co-disposal of medium and low calorific value solid waste. The system has been put into use in Hepu Cement since October 2023. The daily disposal capacity of low calorific value domestic waste is more than 500 tons, and the service life of refractory materials is more than 15 months, which has achieved good economic and social benefits. In the future, we plan to replicate the mature experience of the project and promote it in other production bases of the company, so as to contribute more to the green and low-carbon transformation of the industry.
