Tesla announced on October 22 that in the third quarter of 2025, the company's revenue was $28.1 billion, up 12% from the same period last year, and its net profit was $1.37 billion, down 37% from the same period last year.
The results showed that the company's revenue growth in the third quarter was mainly driven by the growth of automobile delivery, energy production and storage business and service business.
Tesla delivered about 497,000 vehicles in the third quarter and deployed 12.5 gigawatt hours of energy storage products, both of which set records.
In addition, the U.S. government imposed tariffs on imported auto parts, which cost the company more than $400 million in the third quarter.
