Shandong announced new energy storage projects in 2025, including lithium batteries, compressed air and other types of energy storage, a total of 96 projects were selected.

On July 9, Shandong Energy Bureau issued the "Announcement on the New Energy Storage Storage Project in 2025". Eighty-one lithium battery energy storage peak shaving projects, two compressed air energy storage peak shaving projects, one liquid flow battery energy storage peak shaving project, seven frequency modulation energy storage projects and five other new energy storage peak shaving projects are proposed to be listed as new energy storage warehousing projects in 2025.

According to the requirements of the Notice on the Collection of New Energy Storage Storage Projects in 2025, it has been recommended by the municipalities and evaluated by experts. It is proposed to list 81 lithium battery energy storage peak shaving projects, 2 compressed air energy storage peak shaving projects, 1 flow battery energy storage peak shaving project, 7 frequency modulation energy storage projects and 5 other new energy storage peak shaving projects as new energy storage warehousing projects in 2025, which are now publicized.
