All cement clinker production lines in the province are required to carry out peak staggering production from December 1, 2025 to March 10, 2026. In addition, according to the statistics of cement network, 13 provinces, including Shaanxi, have issued peak-staggered production plans in autumn and winter, with the longest shutdown time of 151 days.

Recently, the Department of Ecology and Environment of Jiangsu Province announced the list of key emission units in the national carbon emission trading market in Jiangsu Province in 2027. A total of 262 subjects were included in the control, of which 14 were selected from the cement sub-industry, distributed in Nanjing, Wuxi, Xuzhou, Changzhou, Yancheng and Zhenjiang, including Nanjing Zhonglian Cement, Jiangsu Xinning New Building Materials, China Cement Plant, etc. The announcement of the list means that the relevant cement enterprises will be included in the quota management and performance scope of the national carbon market in 2027.
