The Digital New Energy DataBM. Com learned from the Inner Mongolia Energy Bureau that on September 29, the construction of the new energy base in the north-central part of the Kubuqi Desert in Inner Mongolia started in an all-round way .

It is worth noting that the new energy base is located in the north-central part of Kubuqi Desert in Inner Mongolia, which is the first large-scale wind power photovoltaic base of 10 million kilowatts in Inner Mongolia.
It is understood that the base has a total investment of 98.8 billion yuan , and plans to build 8 million kilowatts of photovoltaic and 4 million kilowatts of wind power. Supporting 4 million kilowatts of coal-fired power and 5 million kilowatt-hours of new energy storage .
At the same time, the new energy base will support the construction of "Inner Mongolia Ordos to Hebei Cangzhou" UHV power transmission channel, starting from Dalate Banner , Ordos City, Inner Mongolia, through Shanxi Province. The terminal point is Cangzhou , Hebei Province, with a total length of 699 kilometers, a voltage of ± 800 kilovolts and a transmission capacity of 8 million kilowatts.

The base is scheduled to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2027, which will deliver about 36 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity annually to the North China Power Grid centered on Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, with new energy accounting for 60%.
