In March, the added value of industries above scale increased by 7.7% year-on-year (the growth rate of added value is the real growth rate after deducting price factors). On a month-on-month basis, in March, the value added of industries above designated size increased by 0.44% over the previous month. From January to March, the added value of industries above scale increased by 6.5% year-on-year.

The output of cement industry in March was 15788 million tons, with a year-on-year increase of 2.5%; the national cement output from January to March was 331.16 million tons, with a year-on-year decrease of 1.4%.

In addition, the data show that the national cement output from January to March 2024 is 33684. 1 million tons, so the total output of cement from January to March this year is 5.681 million tons less than same period last year, a decrease of 1.7%.
