The environmental impact assessment of the 7 million tons/year technical transformation and expansion project of a limestone mine for cement in Anhui was approved

On December 4, the Bureau of Ecology and Environment of Maanshan City, Anhui Province, issued a public announcement on the approval of the environmental impact assessment of the 7 million tons/year open-pit mining technical renovation and expansion project of the limestone mine for cement in the integrated mining area of Shiyang Huashan, Hexian County, Anhui Province, Anhui Panjing Cement Co., Ltd.

The project is located within the existing site area of Shiyang Town, Hexian County. The designed mining scope remains unchanged. The main construction contents are as follows: the mine adopts the hillside open-pit mining method, the crushing equipment is not increased, and the mining equipment (drilling rig, excavator, transport vehicle, etc.) And operation shifts are increased. The annual production scale is increased from 4.5 million tons/year to 7 million tons/year (including 5.5 million tons/year of limestone for cement and 1.5 million tons/year of limestone for building stone).
