Recently, the Ministry of Finance issued a notice on the budget of air pollution prevention and control funds for 2026 in advance, and the current round of air pollution prevention and control funds is about 24.362 billion yuan.
Among them, the Notice of the Ministry of Finance on the Budget of Funds for the Prevention and Control of Air Pollution in 2026 and the Notice of the Ministry of Finance on the Budget of Funds for the Prevention and Control of Water Pollution in 2026 require that the funds be implemented to specific projects as soon as possible according to the key tasks of air pollution. The project to be supported shall be submitted to the Ministry of Ecology and Environment for the record within 4 months after receiving the subsidy fund. All localities should implement their work responsibilities, accelerate the implementation of the project, and ensure that the progress and effect of the project implementation meet the requirements. Projects that have received financial support from the central government through other channels such as capital construction investment shall not be included in the scope of financial support.
Prevention and control funds are included in the normal supervision scope of transfer payment budget implementation. Financial departments at all levels should receive and log in budget indicators in time in the budget management integration system, keep the "tracking" mark unchanged, rely on the transfer payment monitoring module of the budget management integration system, strengthen daily supervision, and improve the standardization and effectiveness of the management and use of transfer payment funds.
