Gree Investment! Jiangsu 2G W Photovoltaic Cell and Module Project Acceptance Announcement!

On August 11, the People's Government of Qidong City, Jiangsu Province, issued a public announcement on the acceptance of Qidong Hongjun Heterojunction Battery and Component Project (Phase I) . According to

the EIA document, Qidong Hongjun New Energy Co., Ltd. It plans to invest 2 billion yuan to build a 4GW battery + 2GW component production base and a solar photovoltaic advanced technology innovation center project, but considering the construction cycle and funds . The project is planned to be constructed by stages . The EIA was accepted by Qidong Hongjun Heterojunction Battery and Component Project (Phase I) of Qidong Hongjun New Energy Co., Ltd .

According to the EIA document, Qidong Hongjun Heterojunction Battery and Component Project (Phase I) is the first declaration , which is a new (relocation) project. Qidong Hongjun New Energy Co., Ltd. is responsible for the construction, with a total investment of 1 billion yuan. It is located on the east side of Xiyuan Road and the south side of Century Avenue in Qidong City, Nantong City, Jiangsu Province. After completion, the annual production capacity of 2G W HJT double-sided double-glass components can be realized.

It is worth noting that the project was signed in July 2024, with a total planned investment of about 4 billion yuan, and the project of 4GW battery + 6GW module production base and perovskite battery pilot base was developed and constructed in two phases. Data show that Qidong Hongjun New Energy is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guangdong Hongjun Juneng New Energy Co., Ltd., while Guangdong Hongjun New Energy is co-funded by Zhuhai Fuhong Juneng, Chunhua Capital and Gree Group.
