First Solar is seeking damages from the infringing party for the infringement, but has not yet proposed a specific amount of compensation.

According to foreign media reports, First Solar filed a lawsuit in Delaware Court accusing Indian company Adani Group (hereinafter referred to as "Adani Group") Mundra Solar PV (MSPVL) of infringing its two patented solar module manufacturing technologies. First Solar is seeking damages from the infringing party for the infringement, but has not yet proposed a specific amount of compensation.

Reported that First Solar contacted Adani Group in April this year, accusing it of copying two technologies in violation of patent law. But the Adani Group has refuted the allegations and asked a Delaware court to rule that it did not infringe. MSPVL says its production process is different from First Solar's patent. For its own sake, the company highlighted several differences between the two companies' manufacturing processes, including aspects of heat treatment.

On August 1, First Solar disputed the Adani Group's claims and insisted on infringement allegations.

In addition to accusing Adani of infringement, First Solar launched patent wars against JinkoSolar and Atlas in February and May this year, involving patents such as US913074B2, which was acquired by First Solar from Tetrasun in 2013.

On July 18, Jingke Energy filed an IPR procedure with the U.S. Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) against First Solar's US913074B2 patent. Similar to patent invalidation procedure). Atlas has not yet made a public response to the above incident.
