This is not only a name change, but also a strategic leap. This is our bold declaration to face the world, embrace the future and expand to the whole industry chain, and also Huaxin's firm commitment to "new to the future".
Looking back on the past, since its founding in 1907, Huaxin has gone through trials and hardships along the way and has become stronger and stronger. In 1993, Huaxin Cement Co., Ltd. was successfully transformed into a joint-stock company, and regained its name of "Huaxin Cement Co., Ltd.", which was jointly established by the government and businessmen in 1943. In the following year, Huaxin Cement Co., Ltd. became the first A-share and B-share listed company in the building materials industry, and "Huaxin Cement" became a shining business card in the capital market and the cement industry.
Since its birth, Huaxin has developed mainly around the cement business for more than a century. From Beijing's top ten buildings such as Great Hall of People to Monument to the People's Heroes, from bridges along the Yangtze River such as Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge and Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge to Qinghai-Xizang Railway and Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway, from Gezhouba Dam, Three Gorges Dam to Baihetan Dam, Xiangjiaba Dam and other power station projects in Jinsha River and Yajiang River basins, "Huaxin Cement" has created countless classics of the times with "century-old quality".
Today, Huaxin has already stepped out of the corner of Huangshi and headed for the world. Its domestic business covers nearly 20 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, and its overseas footprint covers 14 countries, including Central Asia, Southeast Asia, Africa and South America. We are no longer just a manufacturer of cement, but also a builder of the whole chain of building materials ecology:
the three main industries of cement, aggregate and commercial concrete are coordinated and developed, the aggregate production capacity ranks first in China, and the cement and concrete production capacity ranks first steadily;
the co-processing capacity of cement kilns leads China, and the green transformation sets the industry benchmark;
Equipment manufacturing, engineering services, new building materials, phosphogypsum utilization, super-performance materials and other diversified businesses are growing vigorously, showing infinite vitality.
We are leaping from "basic building materials supplier" to "full-scene building materials solution service provider". The tide of

"Huaxin Cement" can hardly bear the grand pattern of Huaxin today, which limits customers'recognition of our diversified products, restricts investors' imagination of the company's growth potential, and weakens Huaxin's brand tension in the global market.
To this end, we size up the situation, in the name of "Huaxin Building Materials Group", to promote the company to achieve three major leaps:
First, the brand is clearer. The name of "Building Materials Group" highlights our business pattern covering the whole industry chain, enabling global customers to understand Huaxin at a glance, helping to break down cognitive barriers and create a unified, accurate and powerful global brand image.

Take the group as the platform center, open up global resources, so that domestic technology, management and innovation achievements can quickly enable overseas, environmental protection, equipment and other professional forces to cooperate in depth, to achieve "global resources, local landing", and promote the vigorous development of overseas business with high quality.
Third, the vision is more far-reaching. The vision of "a better world begins with us" will transcend national boundaries.
