On December 9, the Emergency Management Bureau of Guangnan County, Yunnan Province, released an investigation report on the "6.17" accident in Liancheng, Guangnan. On June 17 this year, Liu drove a heavy tank truck out of control on the Suima Line in Guangnan, colliding with nine waiting vehicles, resulting in one death and eight injuries, with a direct economic loss of about 1.6538 million yuan.
After investigation, the direct cause of the accident is that the overload rate of the vehicle is 141.35%, which belongs to serious overload transportation, and driving vehicles that do not meet the safety technical conditions of motor vehicle operation. Liu is suspected of criminal offences and assumes full responsibility. At the same time, it is suggested that relevant enterprises and functional departments be given administrative penalties and interviews.
