on September 12, the commencement ceremony of Tongwei Jintang 100MW/200 MWh Independent Shared Energy Storage Power Station Project was held in Sichuan Jintang Economic Development Zone (Chenga Industrial Park). This project is a substantial progress in deepening cooperation between Tongwei New Energy and Jintang County People's Government of Sichuan Province in the field of energy storage after signing the demonstration project of "integration of source, network, load and storage" in February 2025.
The project builds a 100MW/200MWh independent shared energy storage power station, adopts lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage technology , and synchronously supports a highly integrated intelligent energy management system.
The project focuses on the three core functions of "grid side peak regulation and valley filling, green power consumption guarantee and emergency power supply support". After completion, it can not only strengthen the energy supply resilience of Jintang Economic Development Zone (Chenga Industrial Park), but also alleviate the peak pressure of regional power consumption and ensure the stability of power system; It can directly optimize the energy consumption structure of Tongwei Jintang Base and its surrounding energy-consuming enterprises in the park-through the energy storage system to achieve precise power matching and peak staggering, further reduce the cost of energy consumption of enterprises, and enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of the product market.
