Recently, the second meeting of the first Council of Cement Branch of Hebei Building Materials Industry Association was held in Shijiazhuang. The conference aims to strengthen the leadership of industry organizations, promote industry self-help, reverse industry difficulties, and make every effort to promote high-quality development of the industry. Shi Qiwei, Director of Raw Materials Department of Hebei Industry and Information Technology Department, and Li Huaijiang, Executive Chairman of the Provincial Building Materials Association attended the meeting. More than 60 people attended the meeting, including the chairman, vice chairman, executive director, director and Secretariat staff of the Cement Branch. The meeting was chaired by Li Shanshan, Secretary-General of the Provincial Building Materials Association.
The meeting first deliberated and adopted the plan for the addition of directors and the adjustment of the person in charge of the branch. After the election of the General Assembly, Comrade Wang Zhensheng was elected President of the Cement Branch, Comrade Niu Yafei was elected Executive Vice-President and Secretary-General, and Comrade Cai Jinshan was elected Executive Vice-President.
Wang Zhensheng, Cai Jinshan and Niu Yafei made statements one by one, saying that they would live up to expectations, unite and lead the governing units to jointly meet the challenges of the industry and make every effort to promote the healthy and sustainable development of the cement industry in Hebei Province.
Wang Zhensheng said in his speech that he would focus on three aspects to promote the implementation of the work. First, he would innovate the operation mechanism, promote off-peak production, and strengthen information sharing and policy coordination. Second, he would optimize the capacity pattern, strengthen communication with government departments, and build a government-enterprise service platform. Third, he would promote industry self-discipline, resist vicious competition, and build a fair market order. The new branch will strengthen self-discipline and regional coordination, promote the normalization of peak staggering production, maintain market order and the overall interests of the industry, effectively play the role of bridge and link, and promote the healthy and sustainable development of the industry.
Shi Qiwei attended the meeting and delivered a speech, congratulating the newly elected leading members of the branch. He emphasized the future development direction of the cement industry from four aspects: first, the concentration of the industry will be deeply integrated; second, the management of production capacity will be further strengthened; third, green, low-carbon and sustainable development will become the norm; fourth, the "involution" competition will be eliminated to build a unified national market. He pointed out that enterprises should strive for real innovation and brand building, subdivide products, differentiate development, and attach importance to information technology + artificial intelligence. At the same time, enterprises should accurately grasp the development situation of the industry, unswervingly promote the structural reform of the supply side, accelerate the green and low-carbon transformation, and constantly improve the quality and efficiency of the industry development. At the end of the
meeting, Li Huaijiang made a concluding speech, thanking the Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology for its meticulous guidance and strong support for the work of the Association, and congratulating the three newly elected leading members of the Branch. He pointed out that the content of this meeting is important and significant, pointing out the direction for the healthy development of the industry under the new situation. At the same time, three requirements are put forward for the work of the branch. First, all enterprises should truly support the work of the leaders of the branch. Second, the leaders of the branch should stress politics, consider the overall situation, unite the industry and unswervingly reduce production capacity. Third, the association, enterprises and the government should work together to promote the high-quality development of the cement industry. All governing units are required to conscientiously implement the spirit of the conference, implement various work arrangements, strengthen confidence and cohesion, and jointly win the battle for steady growth in the second half of the year.
At the meeting, the spirit of the seminar on "Carbon Reduction, Consumption Reduction and Steady Growth" in Shanxi, Hebei, Shandong and Henan on August 29 was also highlighted.
The meeting further unified the thinking, clarified the direction, condensed the consensus, and laid a solid foundation for the steady growth, efficiency improvement and transformation of the cement industry in Hebei Province in the second half of the year. Delegates at the meeting expressed that they would earnestly implement the spirit of the conference and take practical actions to promote the high-quality development of the industry.
