Last week, the upstream and downstream game of photovoltaic modules intensified. Supported by the policy, the prices of upstream silicon materials, silicon wafers and batteries continue to rise, but the price of components is difficult due to the poor downstream demand, and the local price is loose and declining. According to our research, the overall production scheduling remained stable or slightly increased in September, but the production scheduling strategy was divided, and some manufacturers reduced production and prices.
TOPCon components were mixed, maintaining 0.63-0.74 yuan/W as a whole, and the price of components below 700 W in some leading enterprises dropped to 0.65-0.66 yuan/W. Due to the sluggish downstream demand, most component manufacturers are stabilizing their prices and some large manufacturers are beginning to reduce their prices. Second-and third-tier manufacturers are cleaning up low-power products, with 550-630 W components trading at 0.56-0.63 yuan/W, but the terminal acceptance is still not high. The price of
BC components is generally stable, the mainstream price is 0.67-0.79 yuan/W, and the high price transaction is reduced. The overall price of HJT components is stable at 0.69-0.75 yuan/W, the low-price transaction is reduced, the inventory pressure is small, but the willingness of manufacturers to raise prices is also very weak, the transaction price is concentrated at 0.71-0.75 yuan/W, and the shipment is driven by large centralized orders. On
the supply side, the production schedule of leading manufacturers is divided, the overall production schedule of the industry is expected to increase by 1-2G W compared with August, the production schedule in September is concentrated in 46-50G W, and some manufacturers have already taken a holiday ahead of schedule. In terms of
distributed demand, the inquiry activity rebounded, and orders in North China and East China increased, focusing on high-power components above 700 W. Centralized demand dropped to a low level, with bidding demand of about 201 MW and bidding scale of about 169 MW.
Generally speaking, the situation of the module market is not optimistic
. As for the details of the changes and trends of the module market in a week, we will share them with you in the live broadcast of the weekly talk on the PV module market at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Welcome to make an appointment to watch.
