Good Morning!
It is a great pleasure to gather with all colleagues to participate in the "14th China Cement Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Technology Exchange Conference and the 6th Intelligent Summit Forum" hosted by China Cement Network.
At present, the cement industry is at a critical stage of continuous promotion of the "double carbon" goal and acceleration of intelligent transformation. It is facing not only the challenges of environmental protection standards upgrading and operating costs increasing, but also the opportunities of technological innovation and mode upgrading. I would like to take this opportunity to share some thoughts with you based on the current situation and future direction of the cement industry.
First, "technology empowerment" is the core path
to solve the industry dilemma. Nowadays, the "green transformation" and "intelligent upgrade" of the cement industry are the only way to survive and develop. Some small and medium-sized enterprises still remain in the traditional production mode, and the level of environmental protection management lags behind; while the leading enterprises, through technological innovation and intelligent transformation, can not only improve production efficiency and stabilize operating income, but also reasonably invest profits in upgrading environmental protection facilities, forming a positive cycle of "benefit-environmental protection-competitiveness". The landing of
new environmental protection standards and the fluctuation of energy prices have intensified the cost pressure of cement enterprises. Only by relying on technological breakthroughs to reduce consumption and intelligent upgrading to improve efficiency, can we make more room for investment in environmental protection governance. This conference focuses on energy-saving, environmental protection and intelligent technology, which is the key to balance "benefit acquisition" and "environmental protection investment". I hope you can learn more from advanced experience and make technology a dual support for cost reduction, efficiency enhancement and environmental protection upgrading.
Second, "self-discipline" is the fundamental guarantee
to protect the industry ecology. Information opacity and inconsistent action are the root causes of many problems. Only through normalized and institutionalized communication and cooperation can we really promote the effectiveness of decisive measure such as peak staggering production. Recently, I have mentioned many times that adhering to the industry communication and exchange mechanism is a key measure to ensure the landing of off-peak production, which can solve the problems of information asymmetry and inconsistent behavior, and create a stable business environment for enterprises.
Large enterprises should be brave and actively lead, and the vast number of enterprises should actively cooperate and act together, so as to truly prevent vicious competition and safeguard the overall interests of the industry. We should continue to improve the exchange mechanism, promote multi-party cooperation and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
3. "Honesty and integrity" is the spiritual background
of the industry's steady and far-reaching development. 2025 is the key year to promote ultra-low emissions in the cement industry. We need to adhere to "honesty", resolutely abandon short-sighted behavior, put an end to vicious competition, and jointly create a clean, healthy and orderly market environment. Do not do "three abuses" such as stealing and leaking, strive to carry the "three flags", support environmental protection investment with reasonable profits, and win market recognition with environmental protection upgrading.
Dear colleagues, the cement industry shoulders the dual mission of "ensuring construction demand and promoting green transformation". I hope you will take this conference as an opportunity to promote green production through technological innovation, rely on self-discipline to ensure environmental protection investment, and achieve "efficiency and environmental protection together". It is believed that through our practical cooperation, we will inject new momentum into the energy-saving, environmental protection and intelligent transformation of the cement industry.
