16 October, The official website of the Management Committee of Yangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone of Jiangsu Province announced the approval opinions on the EIA documents of " Jingao Yangzhou R & D No.1 Solar Cell Technology Research and Development Project " and " Jingao Yangzhou Base Battery Technology Renovation Project ".

Jingao Yangzhou R & D No.1 Solar Cell Technology R & D Project is located in No.1 Jinhui Road, Jingkai District, Yangzhou (hereinafter referred to as Jinghui Factory), and the construction unit plans to invest 36 million yuan . The self-owned houses, including the No.1 laboratory of the research and development center and the auxiliary building of the No.9 factory building, will be used for renovation, with a construction area of about 10139 ㎡, and 18 sets of main equipment for wet chemistry, doping, coating, printing and testing will be purchased. At the same time, the original experimental and testing equipment will be used, totaling about 150 sets of equipment, to establish a solar cell research laboratory. Develop research and development of high-efficiency N-type and TBC solar cell technology.

The environmental impact assessment documents show that the R & D and trial production scale of the project has been increased from 3 MW/year to 54 MW/year , and the construction time is 2 months. Jinghui Factory mainly produces solar cells and components , and develops solar energy products. The battery technical transformation project

of Jingao Yangzhou Base is located in Jingao Jingyun Park, No.6 Jinhui Road, Jingkai District (hereinafter referred to as Jingyun Factory), with an investment of 210 million yuan for technical transformation. With the completion of the project, the total production capacity of solar cells in Jingyun Plant will remain unchanged at 20GW/year . According to the EIA documents of the

project, the battery technology transformation project of Jingao Yangzhou Base has carried out technical transformation of the new generation of high-efficiency photovoltaic cell workshop in the existing battery workshop, including large-size transformation, boron-oxygen two-in-one process transformation, BPP technology transformation and 650 W battery high-power transformation. Among them, the large size transformation is to upgrade the silicon wafer from 182-199 mm to 182-210 mm. According to

the data, Jingyun Factory is responsible for the mass production of battery products of specific models. At present, the projects that have passed the acceptance and are in normal operation include: the project of producing 10GW high-efficiency solar cells annually (re-submitted for approval) and the project of producing 10GW solar cells annually in F3 Factory of Jingao Yangzhou Base.

Jingao Jinghui Plant and Jingyun Plant are independent of each other in daily operation. The construction units of the above
