Damaoqi Xiangpeng 500,000 kW/2 million kWh Energy Storage Power Station Project was selected, with a declared scale of 500 MW/2GWh. The owner of the project is Baotou Zhengxin Xiangpeng Energy Storage Co., Ltd.
It is known that Baotou Zhengxin Xiangpeng Energy Storage Co., Ltd. is a joint venture of Baotou Zhengxin Energy Management Co., Ltd., Inner Mongolia Mingsheng Energy Co., Ltd. and Mengxi New Energy Development (Damao Banner) Co., Ltd. They are all wholly state-owned companies.
In fact, the announcement is a supplement to the list of previously publicized projects. According to
the publicity information, Damao Banner of Baotou City has previously publicized the preferred results of the new independent new energy storage construction projects in Damao Banner of Baotou City from 2026 to 2027 from January 14 to January 16, 2026.
