Zhejiang Cement Association was invited to participate in joint diagnosis of energy saving and carbon reduction in cement enterprises to promote energy saving and carbon reduction transformation

In order to implement the "Three-year Action Plan for Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction in Key Industries" issued by the National Development and Reform Commission and other departments, and continuously promote the transformation of energy conservation and carbon reduction in cement industry, Wu Miaomiao, Director of Energy Conservation Department of Quzhou Development and Reform Commission, led the team on July 9-10, and the National Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction Center jointly formed an expert team with relevant units. Four cement enterprises in Quzhou City were diagnosed one by one to find out the gaps and energy-saving transformation space, and to help urge enterprises to organize energy-saving and carbon-reducing technological transformation projects in accordance with the requirements of the documents and report them in time. Zhejiang Cement Association was invited to send forces to follow up. Zhang Songli, Deputy Secretary-General and Senior Engineer of the Association, participated in the whole process of investigation and diagnosis. During

the event, the experts of the association accompanied the expert team to go deep into the production sites of various enterprises, focusing on the shortcomings of alternative raw materials and fuels, preheaters "five to six", photovoltaic energy storage, transformers and low-efficiency motor renewal, to help enterprises accurately sort out and put forward suggestions. In the activity, Zhejiang Cement Association gave full play to the advantages of being familiar with the industry, being close to the enterprise and leading the direction of the industry, and put forward suggestions for improvement for each enterprise, which attracted the attention of all parties. On June 16, Zhejiang Cement Association issued the initiative of "Zhejiang Cement Association calls on member units to seize the policy window period and rapidly promote energy-saving and carbon-reducing transformation".

In this diagnostic activity, Quzhou Development and Reform Commission innovatively adopted the form of government platform, experts and associations singing operas, giving full play to the advantages of associations and expert teams, and achieved good expected results. Quzhou's experience and practice are replicable. On March 26, Quzhou issued the Regulations on the Construction and Application of Carbon Accounts in Quzhou, which is the first regulation on the construction of carbon accounts in China and is also in the forefront of the country.
