On July 14, at the 2026 Photovoltaic Storage Innovative Technology Conference, Longji Green Energy officially announced that the conversion efficiency of the crystalline silicon-perovskite tandem solar cell independently developed by the company reached 35.5% after the authoritative certification of the European Solar Energy Testing Agency (ESTI), setting a new world record. As the mainstream technology route of the next generation of ultra-high efficiency solar cells, the theoretical limit efficiency of

crystalline silicon-perovskite tandem solar cells is as high as 43%, far exceeding the SQ limit efficiency of single-junction solar cells (33.7%). Longji Laminated Battery Team increased its efficiency to 33.9% in November 2023 and 34.6% in June 2024. In less than a year since then, the team has made successive breakthroughs, from 34.85%, 35.2% to 35.5%, fully demonstrating the scientific research strength and exploratory spirit of Longji Central Research Institute. In May
this year, the efficiency (35.2%) of crystalline silicon-perovskite tandem cells independently developed by Longji was included in the 68th edition of Solar Cell Efficiency Table published by Professor Martin Green's team at the University of New South Wales, Australia, and became a representative high-level achievement of the technology route at that time. At the same time, Longji achieved 34.3% (261cm ²) and 32.2% (274cm ²) conversion efficiency respectively under the condition closer to the industrialization size, showing a good industrialization prospect of laminated technology. In addition, the conversion efficiencies of 31.4% and 29.4% achieved by Longji in laminated components have been independently certified by international authorities and included in the efficiency table, laying a solid foundation for the industrial application of crystalline silicon-perovskite laminated technology from the laboratory.
