Among them, the average transaction price of N-type re-feeding was 40 thousand and 500 yuan/ton, down 6.25% from the previous month ; The average transaction price of N-type granular silicon was 40 thousand and 500 yuan/ton, down 7.95% . The average transaction price of N-type dense materials was 38200 yuan/ton, down 4.26%.
In view of the reasons for the continued downward trend of polysilicon prices, the Silicon Branch said that the upstream and downstream enterprises in the industry were relatively pessimistic about the future market. The purchasing willingness of downstream enterprises is very low , and the price reduction is very strong; Under the pressure of inventory and capital, silicon enterprises passively accept low prices to seek cash reflux, forming a negative cycle of "the more they fall, the less they buy" .
In addition, the Silicon Branch believes that in the current downward trend of prices, the greater the price decline and the rate of decline, the more obvious the downstream mentality of "buying up and not buying down", which further inhibits the willingness to purchase beyond the rigid demand, resulting in weaker market demand. According to data from
the Silicon Branch, the price of polysilicon rose sharply at the end of December last year, and after three weeks of stable quotation, the price was interrupted for two weeks in late January 2026 due to no transaction. However, since February 11, the Silicon Branch has resumed the quotation of polysilicon, and the prices of N-type re-feeding and N-type dense materials have fallen sharply for four consecutive weeks. In
this regard, the Silicon Branch said in this week's report that the current sharp and rapid price decline will not stimulate demand, but will aggravate the wait-and-see and hedging sentiment of the whole industry chain and prolong the market's bottom-grinding time.
