Recently, BYD Energy Storage and Grenergy, Spain's leading clean energy company, have reached a new strategic cooperation. 468 sets of MC Cube-T energy storage systems with a total capacity of 2.6 GWh will be provided for the Oasis Solar Storage Project in Central Chile. Following the cooperation of the largest energy storage project in Latin America of 3.5 GWh in May 2025, the
two sides joined hands again. The total photovoltaic installed capacity of the Oasis Photovoltaic Storage Project in Central Chile is 1.1 GWh, and the energy storage scale is 4 GWh, with an estimated total investment of 900 million US dollars. It is planned to be put into full operation from 2026 to 2027.
As of 2025, BYD has shipped more than 135 GWh of energy storage systems, successfully landed more than 650 energy storage projects, and its business covers more than 110 countries and regions around the world.
