On July 22, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment issued the Technical Requirements for the Construction and Networking of Self-Monitoring Video Surveillance System for Pollutant Discharge Units, which will be implemented from October 1, 2026.
In order to implement the provisions of laws and regulations such as the Ecological Environment Code of the People's Republic of China and the Regulations on Ecological Environment Monitoring, prevent and control ecological environment pollution, improve the quality of ecological environment, and standardize the construction and networking of self-monitoring video surveillance system of pollutant discharge units, this standard is formulated. This standard specifies the technical requirements for self-monitoring video surveillance system structure, front-end equipment function and performance, video data aggregation system, front-end equipment installation, networking transmission, operation and management of pollutant discharge units. This standard is issued for the first time.
