On July 31, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the Notice of the 15th Five-Year Plan for Green and Low Carbon Development of Industry.
The plan requires that by 2030, the industrial structure and energy consumption structure will be further optimized, carbon dioxide emissions in the industrial sector will reach a peak, the efficiency of energy resources utilization will be steadily improved, the proportion of green energy applications will be significantly increased, the green manufacturing and service system will be improved, and the competitive advantages of green low-carbon industries will be consolidated and enhanced.
