From July 30 to 31, the 2026 Mid-Year Working Conference of China Building Materials Group and the Mobilization and Deployment Meeting for Further Deepening Reform were held in Tai'an, Shandong Province. Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the conference deeply studied and implemented the spirit of the important speeches and instructions of the General Secretary of Xi Jinping, conveyed the spirit of the seminar for the leaders of the central enterprises, deployed and implemented the plan for further deepening the reform of state-owned enterprises, summarized the work in the first half of the year, analyzed the current situation and planned the work in the second half of the year. Firstly, the quality and efficiency of operation have been steadily improved, the trend of economic K-type differentiation has been actively responded to, the industrial structure, profit structure and market structure have been continuously optimized, and the ability of value creation has been further consolidated. Second, the "four integrations" of innovation and investment, transformation and upgrading, international and domestic markets, party building and business continue to deepen, so as to accelerate the emergence of new quality productivity and promote high-quality development in an all-round way.
The speech made an in-depth analysis of the international, domestic and industrial situation, analyzed the opportunities and challenges faced by the Group, and stressed the need to strengthen confidence, do solid work and make every effort to complete the annual tasks. One is to strengthen strategic guidance. We will conscientiously formulate and implement the "Tenth Five-Year Plan" strategic plan, strengthen strategic decomposition, implementation and supervision of closed-loop, accelerate the building of a world-class material industry investment group with global competitiveness, and become a leading provider of non-metallic material system solutions in the world. report, which systematically summarized the achievements around the "four focuses". In the first half of the year, enterprises at all levels of the Group concentrated their efforts and fought bravely to take the lead, focusing on improving quality and efficiency, creating efficiency in production and operation, increasing efficiency in management and increasing value in asset flow, focusing on transformation and upgrading, accelerating the promotion of industry to new excellence, focusing on reform and innovation, continuously improving system efficiency and development vitality, and focusing on Party building. The report stresses that the next step is to focus on the "five overall plans" of stabilizing the current situation and benefiting the long-term, the whole and the part, the domestic and international, the symptoms and the root causes, and the development and security, focusing on the five aspects of the work. First, spare no effort to stabilize operation and improve quality and efficiency. Strengthen the goal orientation, deepen the three fine management, comprehensively enhance the ability of value creation, and ensure the completion of the year-round business tasks. Second, we should take various measures to optimize the layout and adjust the structure. Based on the advantages of investment companies, we will promote high-quality international operations, comprehensively promote green and low-carbon transformation, accelerate digital transformation and empowerment, and accelerate the construction of a modern industrial system. Third, we should focus on integration, innovation and reform. Speed up the creation of new quality productivity and effectively stimulate the effectiveness of reform. Fourth, we should address both the symptoms and the root causes, prevent risks and keep the bottom line. Strictly control debt risk, overseas business risk and investment risk, improve the supervision mechanism of large compliance, and strengthen safety production and quality management. Fifth, we should consistently strengthen Party building and consolidate the fundamentals. conference also commended 240 outstanding Communist Party members, 120 outstanding Party workers and 133 advanced grass-roots Party organizations of the group, awarded the "two excellent and one first" representatives, and called on Party organizations at all levels of the group and the broad masses of Communist Party members to take the advanced as an example.
