China Building Material (03323) announced that at the board meeting held on March 30, 2026, the company passed the following proposals on, among other things, the replacement of the joint company secretary of the company. Subject to the waiver obtained from The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited from strict compliance with the requirements under Rules 3.28 and 8.17 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on the Stock Exchange, Ms. Miao Xiaoling has been appointed as a joint company secretary of the Company with effect from the obtaining of such waiver, and the term of office shall be the same as that of the fifth session of the Board, and Ms. Miao Xiaoling is eligible for re-election and re-appointment upon the expiry of her term of office in accordance with laws.

On October 13, the Office of Industry and Information Technology of Jiangxi Province announced that due to the revision of the policy of capacity replacement in the cement and glass industry by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Office of Industry and Information Technology of Jiangxi Province decided to abolish the Rules for the Implementation of Capacity Replacement in the Cement and Glass Industry of Jiangxi Province (Gongxin Regulation No.2024) from the date of issuance of the notice, and to abolish the "Rules for the Implementation of Capacity Replacement in the Cement and Glass Industry of Jiangxi Province". The capacity replacement of cement and glass industry in the whole province will be handled in accordance with the relevant policies of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in the future.
