Market Supervision, in conjunction with the Ministry of Housing, Urban and Rural Construction and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, has gradually incorporated 72 products of six categories, including building doors and windows, ready-mixed concrete and stone materials, into the certification of green building materials, and implemented the quality control of the whole life cycle covering raw material mining, production and manufacturing, use and circulation to recycling and disposal, so as to strengthen the quality of building materials from the source. By the end of June 2026, there were 5725 certified green building materials enterprises in China, with 11094 valid certificates, driving the national green building materials revenue to nearly 130 billion yuan, an increase of more than 10% over the same period last year. It is estimated that by the end of 2026, the national green building materials revenue will exceed 300 billion yuan, and the quality and efficiency of industrial development will be steadily improved.

In terms of the promotion and application of certification results, the General Administration of Market Supervision, in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance and other departments, vigorously promotes the implementation of the "Government Procurement Policy to Support Green Building Materials and Promote Building Quality", and promotes the priority selection of certified green building materials in the whole process of design, bidding, construction and settlement of government procurement projects. Up to now, the policy has covered 101 cities across the country, landed 1080 government procurement projects, and the total amount of green building materials procurement reached 380 billion yuan, significantly improving the "green content" and building quality of urban construction.

At the same time, green building materials certification services continue to extend to the grass-roots level, and are deeply integrated with the special action of green building materials going to the countryside. They are widely used in key rural construction scenarios such as rural self-built houses, rural roads, sewage pipe networks and human settlements improvement, effectively stimulating rural green consumption by more than 20 billion yuan. It is estimated that the certified products of green building materials can reduce carbon by more than 30 million tons annually, providing solid support for the construction of beautiful countryside and the overall revitalization of the countryside.
