On August 19, Chongqing Economic and Credit Commission issued a public announcement on the withdrawal of the production line of 2500 tons of cement clinker per day of Chongqing Wanzhou Southwest Cement Co., Ltd. According to the requirements of the Measures for the Implementation of Capacity Replacement in the Cement and Glass Industry (2024 edition) and other documents, after on-site verification by the Economic Information Committee of Wanzhou District, the rotary kiln of a cement clinker production line with a daily output of 2500 tons used by Chongqing Wanzhou Southwest Cement Co., Ltd. to supplement the production capacity project has been cut, the grate cooler, transformer and other equipment have been dismantled, and the production capacity has not been restored.
