Recently, Led by Trina Solar, the key project of the national key R & D plan " Renewable Energy Technology", "High Reliability Crystalline Silicon Module and Its Battery Complete Preparation Technology", passed the mid-term inspection smoothly. As one of the important tasks of this national project, the construction of Huai'an THBC battery pilot line has reached the phased goal, laying a solid foundation for the large-scale production of THBC technology and the popularization of technology in the whole industry. Through comprehensive listening to special reports, verification of technical data and field survey of pilot production lines, the

expert group comprehensively verified the mid-term research results of the project, unanimously confirmed that the project completed the established mid-term tasks, all the assessment indicators met the standards, and passed the mid-term inspection smoothly. Leaders and industry experts such as the Center for High-tech Research and Development of
the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Hong Ran, Vice Mayor of Huai'an Municipal People's Government, Zhu Feng, Director of the Management Committee of Huai'an Economic and Technological Development Zone, and Gao Jifan, Chairman of Trina Solar Energy and Director of the National Key Laboratory of Photovoltaic Science and Technology, served as project leaders. Lead the project leaders and the core backbone of the project to participate in the inspection.
Since its inception more than a year ago, the project has focused on THBC innovative battery technology to carry out core research, focusing on key technologies for the preparation of THBC crystalline silicon batteries and highly reliable components with high short-circuit current density and high open-circuit voltage, and deeply integrating the three mainstream technological advantages of TOPCon, HJT and BC. To achieve a major breakthrough in the technology of crystalline silicon cells approaching the theoretical efficiency limit of THBC cells, and successfully complete the feasibility verification and industrialization of the core technology.
