On August 25, Chang Zhangli, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of China National Building Material Group, met with Chen Yong, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy General Manager of China National Building Material Group, and the two sides held a discussion and exchange on strengthening joint R & D and deepening strategic cooperation. Zhi Xiao, Assistant General Manager of the Group, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of China National Building Materials Institute, attended the meeting.
Chang Zhangli extended a warm welcome to Chen Yong and his party. He pointed out that materials must be fully integrated with scenarios in order to maximize their value. As the leader of the global construction industry, China Construction Group has super-large-scale application scenarios and is an important carrier for the application of advanced materials. Since the signing of the strategic agreement between the two sides in 2024, the work has been steadily advancing and the potential for cooperation is enormous. Facing the future, we hope that both sides will answer the same questions, focus on green low-carbon, digital intelligence, value enhancement and cost control, promote the transformation of new technologies from laboratory to large-scale application, accelerate the promotion of new materials such as composite materials and ceramic materials, and create a solid cooperation paradigm. The Group will persist in building "good houses" with "good materials and good services", and work with China Construction Group to build systematic solutions covering material manufacturing, engineering applications and operation and maintenance services, to help urban renewal actions, expand the depth and breadth of global cooperation, and work together to contribute more to the construction of a new development pattern and the promotion of high-quality development.
Chen Yong thanked the Group for its warm reception and introduced the business development of China Construction Group and the strategy of "three rises and one turn". He said that in the face of changes in the development environment, China Building Materials Group is actively promoting the upgrading of its main business from construction to intelligent construction, from grey to green, from traditional housing construction to "good house", and accelerating the transformation from single building construction to comprehensive urban operation services, which is inseparable from the strong support of high-quality building materials and services of China Building Materials Group. In the next step, it is expected that the two sides will further strengthen scientific research cooperation, improve the pilot verification model and normal cooperation mechanism, jointly promote in-depth cooperation in key areas such as the upstream and downstream links of the industrial chain and the coordinated development of overseas markets, so as to achieve complementary advantages, mutual benefit and win-win situation, promote the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry with scientific and technological innovation, and better serve the overall development of the country.
