As a representative achievement, the temperature of the kiln barrel is reduced by 50 ℃ to 100 ℃ and the load of the barrel is reduced by 10% to 15% after using the low thermal conductivity mullite brick. Taking a production line with a daily output of 5000 tons as an example, after using the low thermal conductivity mullite brick, 1120 tons of standard coal are saved and 3000 tons of carbon dioxide are reduced annually. In 2021, this achievement was selected into the recommended catalogue of national industrial energy-saving technology and equipment, and now it has been running steadily on more than 50 cement kilns.
At the same time, he led the project of "Development and Industrialization of Low Carbon, Green and High Performance Refractories for Cement Industry", which achieved new breakthroughs in high temperature resistance, erosion resistance and solid waste utilization, and the overall technology reached the international advanced level. In order to break through the technical bottleneck of blast furnace longevity and ensure the long-term stable operation of the core equipment of iron and steel smelting, Ma Shulong led the team to build the basic material system, and the data of proportioning, mixing, forming, firing and testing were not ideal. In order to get the first-hand material, he led the team to go deep into the production site, investigate the customer's process pain points, and repeatedly diagnose the "crux" of material failure from the hot kiln to the mountain of waste bricks.
Finally, a new generation of products such as plastic phase composite corundum bricks and series of castables for quick repair were successfully developed, which pushed the life of blast furnace from 5 to 6 years to more than 15 years, significantly increased the utilization coefficient of blast furnace, and reduced the frequency of maintenance and operation costs.
At present, the related products have been running steadily on the production lines of Baosteel, Shougang, Shandong Steel and other large domestic steel enterprises, and exported to Indonesia and other countries. If the follow-up service can not keep up with the

product, it is difficult for the best materials to play the maximum role in the complex production line conditions. To this end, Ma Shulong insists on getting through the "last mile" of technical services, innovatively launches the "one kiln, one file" full-cycle service model, tailor-made for each cement kiln from diagnosis, selection to construction of a systematic program-just like building an exclusive health record for each equipment, tracking the whole process and lifelong service. In order to build a solid "file", he led the team to dozens of production lines in China, squatted beside the kiln to record the working parameters, repeatedly compared the material loss rules of different raw materials and different kiln types, and fed back the accumulated field data into formula optimization and service customization. This kind of deep cultivation of "running close to customers and revolving around production lines" has upgraded the service from "standardized supply" to "personalized diagnosis and treatment".
