CR Building Material Technology: Proposed Appointment of Grant Thornton as Independent Auditor

A few days ago, China Resources Building Materials Technology (01313. HK) announced that KPMG ( "KPMG") has been an independent auditor of the company since May 2023 and will retire after the annual general meeting of shareholders held on May 29, 2026. After careful consideration, the Board proposes not to re-appoint KPMG as the independent auditor of the Company at the AGM.

In view of the planned retirement of KPMG, the Company has carried out the selection process for audit services. Based on the results of the above procedures and with the recommendation of the Audit Committee, the Board has resolved to recommend the appointment of Grant Thornton Hong Kong Limited ( "Grant Thornton") as the independent auditor of the Company following the retirement of KPMG, subject to the approval of shareholders at the AGM.
