Recently, the Housing and Construction Bureau of Ordos City, Inner Mongolia, issued a circular on the wage arrears of migrant workers in the field of housing construction from January to August 2026. Sixteen construction units, including China Railway Shanghai Engineering Bureau, China Construction Second Engineering Bureau and Guangzhou Construction Co., Ltd., were named for their frequent wage arrears and complaints. According to statistics, there are 3114 workers involved in 16 enterprises. The total amount of wages owed to migrant workers reached 6159.

The construction unit, China Railway Shanghai Engineering Bureau Group Co., Ltd., failed to pay the wages of workers in full and on time, causing arrears. It violates Article 50 of the Labor Law of the People's Republic of China and Articles 3 and 12 of the Regulations on Guaranteeing the Payment of Migrant Workers'Wages.

From January to August 2026, A total of 134 complaints and reports were received about the wage arrears of migrant workers in the standardized workshop project of the photovoltaic low-carbon demonstration base in the Ordos High-tech Industrial Development Zone contracted by China Construction Second Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd . Involving 558 workers with wages of about 13.33 million yuan, the construction unit, China Construction Second Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd., violated Article 50 of the Labor Law of the People's Republic of China and Articles 3 and 12 of the Regulations on Guaranteeing the Payment of Migrant Workers'Wages due to the slow process of wage payment.

From January to August 2026, a total of 112 complaints and reports were received about the wage arrears of migrant workers in the standardized workshop project of photovoltaic low-carbon demonstration base in Ordos High-tech Industrial Development Zone contracted by Guangzhou Construction Co., Ltd . Involving about 16.77 million yuan of wages for 725 workers, the construction unit Guangzhou Construction Co., Ltd. was in arrears due to disputes over the settlement of project funds, violating Article 50 of the Labor Law of the People's Republic of China and Articles 3 and 12 of the Regulations on Guaranteeing the Payment of Migrant Workers'Wages.

4. From January to August 2026, a total of 48 complaints and reports were received about the wage arrears of migrant workers in Mingyue Huafu Project of Inner Mongolia Taihong Energy Co., Ltd. contracted by Inner Mongolia Zhongjia Construction Engineering Co., Ltd . Involving 102 workers 92.

Involving 189 workers' wages of 4.96 million yuan, the construction unit Zhonghong Engineering Management Group Co., Ltd. failed to pay the workers' wages in full and on time, causing arrears, violating Article 50 of the Labor Law of the People's Republic of China and Articles 3 and 12 of the Regulations on Guaranteeing the Payment of Migrant Workers' Wages.

From January to August 2026, a total of 36 complaints and reports were received about the wage arrears of migrant workers in Kanghe Villa Area C project contracted by Inner Mongolia Jubo Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. Involving 112 workers' wages of 1.68 million yuan, the construction unit Inner Mongolia Jubo Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. failed to pay the workers' wages in full and on time, causing arrears, violating Article 50 of the Labor Law of the People's Republic of China and Articles 3 and 12 of the Regulations on Guaranteeing the Payment of Migrant Workers' Wages.

12. From January to August 2026, a total of 27 complaints and reports were received about the wage arrears of migrant workers in the Kanghe Villa E project contracted by Inner Mongolia Deshengchang Construction Engineering Co., Ltd . The construction unit , Inner Mongolia Deshengchang Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., failed to pay the wages of 50 workers in full and on time, causing arrears, violating Article 50 of the Labor Law of the People's Republic of China and Articles 3 and 12 of the Regulations on Guaranteeing the Payment of Migrant Workers'Wages.

13. From January to August 2026, a total of 45 complaints and reports were received about the wage arrears of migrant workers in the Qixingyuan Community Project contracted by Ordos Huayan Jian'an Co., Ltd. Involving 178 workers 264.

14. From January to August 2026, a total of 39 complaints and reports were received about the wage arrears of migrant workers in the Haiye Jingyuan project contracted by Guizhou Zhongtongda Construction Engineering Co., Ltd . Involving 128 workers 224.
